The Empty Shell

A husk, a shell, a container of what was;
From the outside, you can't see the emptiness within;
From the outside, I'll show you the sum of who I was;
Not who I am;
Who I am is potential;
"Me" has yet to be made;
The empty container has yet to be filled;
The emptiness does not define me;
But lets me define myself;
A chance to refill with something new;
To be better than who I am;
